SPECIAL CONTAINMENT PROCEDURES:
AN-07 must remain in its containment chamber at all times; removal of the AN-07 from its containment is prohibited, interaction with it is strictly forbidden and dangerous to the facility. In case of opening, the emergency protocol must be activated and designated teams must respond immediately to the opening of the AN-07. Immediate interruption of operations must be implemented in case of an attempt to open the AN-07.
Containment room AN-07 must be reinforced with layers of steel; automatic locking of the containment zone will occur in case of opening; AN-07 must also remain with the Golden S padlock at all times; if AN-07 is opened, the same padlock must be used to lock it again, or the protocol will not work.
Opening AN-07 is considered a containment breach, and the breach protocol must be followed in case of opening.
DESCRIPTION:
AN-07 is an ancient vintage wooden chest with engraved runes that glow a faint yellow when opened. The chest also contains a golden padlock with a golden "S" inscribed on it, and the key is also golden and bears a golden "S". The make and origin of the object are unknown. Scientists from the OS Foundation are currently researching the runes engraved on AN-07 for clues about its origin. It is important to note that the golden padlock is essential to keep AN-07 locked, as in the BlackSite-17 incident, they attempted to lock it with a different padlock, which melted instantly.
AN-07 is extremely dangerous when open, so it is strictly forbidden to even touch the AN-07's key (this rule does not apply while the AN-07 is open); when the AN-07 is open, a toxic smoke begins to violently erupt from it, it is also said that when the AN-07 is open, a wave of "bad luck" escapes from the object, causing an extreme threat in the areas near the AN-07; in total, 4 serious incidents have occurred due to the AN-07 being open, one in the city of [REDACTED], another at Site-17, another at BlackSite-16 and another at BlackSite-04.
AN-07 was first found in an abandoned warehouse in the city of [REDACTED] after a group of 6 teenagers found the box and managed to open it. This caused a major incident in the city, where 11 citizens died due to toxic smoke (including the 6 teenagers who opened it), 27 citizens died in car accidents, 33 citizens died in fires, 12 citizens died due to electrical accidents, and another 112 citizens were injured in other ways but survived. After the incident, the T Corp and C Corp divisions were assigned to investigate what happened, but the OS Foundation managed to recover the AN-07 and reseal it.
The other 3 serious incidents related to AN-07 at Sites 17, 16 and 4 are top secret.
