AN-18: The Wonder Street

OBJECT NUMBERATION: AN-18

ANOMALY SURNAME: The Wonder Street

ANOMALY TYPE: Place

SAFETY CLASS: Dangerous

STATUS CLASS: Active

SPECIAL CONTAINMENT PROCEDURES:

AN-18 cannot be contained due to their unpredictable appearances. If an AN-18 instance appears in a highway, the emergency lockdown of that zone should be made.

DESCRIPTION:

WonderStreet is the name of the anomalous pocket dimension composed of AN-18-1 and AN-18-2, a mysterious and deadly location that has claimed up to 98 known victims, .

AN-18-1, AN-18-2, AN-18-3, AN-18-4, and AN-18-5 are 5 anomalies that will be described separately below.

AN-18-1: The Wonder Highway

OBJECT NUMBERATION: AN-18-1

ANOMALY SURNAME: The Wonder Highway

ANOMALY TYPE: Place

SAFETY CLASS: Dangerous

STATUS CLASS: Active

DESCRIPTION:

AN-18-1 is a highway with short white lines and a row of lampposts in the middle and on the sides. AN-18-1 leads directly to the Wonder Street dimension. This highway appears randomly connected to normal highways and leads to the Wonder Street dimension. AN-18-1 may appear with a sign indicating "To [random city name]" to deceive its victims.

AN-18-2: The Wonder City

OBJECT NUMBERATION: AN-18-2

ANOMALY SURNAME: The Wonder City

ANOMALY TYPE: Place

SAFETY CLASS: Dangerous

STATUS CLASS: Active

DESCRIPTION:

AN-18-2 is an infinite pocket dimension of Wonder Street, which presents itself as a normal city with AN-18-1. However, when the victim tries to leave this dimension, they always get stuck on the same highway.

The "buildings" of AN-18-2 are mostly tall and appear to be made of concrete, with windows that glow in shades of purple. From a distance, victims can see them. But as they approach on foot or by car, they seem to disappear, giving the impression of being just an empty space or a grassy field. This ability works similarly to a mirage, and the scientific department of the OS Foundation has confirmed that these buildings do indeed exist; their purpose, however, is unknown.

This is main area of the WonderStreet, that controls everything in the dimension.

AN-18-3: The Communication Tower

OBJECT NUMBERATION: AN-18-3

ANOMALY SURNAME: The Communication Tower

ANOMALY TYPE: Structure

SAFETY CLASS: Safe

STATUS CLASS: Active

DESCRIPTION:

AN-18-3 is a 24-meter-tall communication tower that randomly appears near people, offering victims internet access. However, the signal is weak and highly likely to be interrupted. AN-18-3 only activates the signal intermittently. Every 40 minutes, the signal oscillates between weak and strong, and then disconnects. Most victims who try to use the tower to call for help usually receive distorted messages or strange noises instead of a response.

AN-18-4: The Wonder Vehicles

OBJECT NUMBERATION: AN-18-4

ANOMALY SURNAME: The Wonder Vehicles

ANOMALY TYPE: Object/Entity

SAFETY CLASS: Dangerous

STATUS CLASS: Active

DESCRIPTION:

AN-18-4 are a set of random cars that drive themselves on AN-18-1, so that victims don't suspect the empty road and feel they are not alone. Some of these cars belonged to other victims who died and transformed into AN-18-5 instances. The vehicles drive themselves on AN-18-1 and begin to behave like normal cars, often trying to lure victims onto AN-18.

AN-18-5: The Wonder Skeletons

OBJECT NUMBERATION: AN-18-4

ANOMALY SURNAME: The Wonder Skeletons

ANOMALY TYPE: Entity

SAFETY CLASS: Dangerous

STATUS CLASS: Active

DESCRIPTION:

AN-18-5 are a group of skeletons that range from 10 to 12 meters tall, possessing three skulls but no legs, and their bones are an intense black. It is believed that these entities were victims of the city, killed after failing to find a way out, either through starvation or dehydration, and affected by the anomalous properties of the AN-18s. Even in death, they seem to continue trying to find a way out.

Because they are blind entities, they rely on hearing to detect nearby victims before attacking them. AN-18-5 individuals are extremely aggressive and will attack any living being that enters their field of vision.
