DESCRIPTION:
AN-19 is a male humanoid figure dressed in dark clothing (a hooded sweatshirt, jeans, and sneakers) and carrying a backpack containing a small scythe, a Bible, the three books of the Divine Comedy series, stress medication, and a small shovel. AN-19's main anomalous characteristic is that he is invisible to the naked eye, appearing only in photographs (always in black and white) and (on rare and random occasions) to people who are approximately 30 minutes from death or entering a vegetative state. Accounts of AN-19 describe a normal conversation between him and the chosen person, in which he supposedly tries to calm them down and reads a book to them. There are theories that AN-19 disappears either immediately after the death of its victim or 7 minutes later. AN-19 has also been sighted near large bodies of water, observing the water or navigating in a wooden boat with two other unidentified people. Some sighting reports mention the appearance of a unidentified AN-20 instance along with the AN-19.
AN-19 was discovered by the OS Foundation on July 15, 1992, when a security agent made contact with AN-19 before being killed by a Class E during a riot, 30 minutes after the first contact. Following this event, O Corp began investigating AN-19 sightings, cataloging approximately one to two sightings per year. In addendum ADD-19-1, you can see an interview with AN-19 recounting its appearance at the hospital [REDACTED] to an elderly woman. In this interview, AN-19 was contacted by a senior agent from the Intelligence Department, two senior researchers from the Scientific Department, and two representatives from the OMTF's β-7 and η-7. Following that interview, another interview took place on April 23, 2007, this time conducted by the Lighthouse Corporation's (L Corp) Paranormal Research Task Force, in which AN-19's intentions to guide the dead and the objects in AN-19's backpack were leaked to O Corp.
Following the encounter with AN-19 on ADD-19-1, the left-wing administrative branch of the OS Foundation (Ethics Committee) initiated a petition to halt the search for AN-19, aiming to intercept only if another person was present alongside the one being contacted by AN-19, for the immediate application of an amnestic protocol. However, the Executive Team has not yet approved the idea, despite notable mentions of AN-19 in ancient documents dating back to 58 BC.
