DESCRIPTION:
AN-24 is a sentient data server, contained at BlackSite-16. Physically, AN-24 appears as a standard 42U rack server with no anomalous properties when powered off. When active, AN-24 work as an autonomous deletion protocol with limited cognition. Its primary function is to locate and permanently erase digital information that classifies as "unstable" or "threatening", such as overpowered anomaly, incident, or feeds that leak OS Foundation's documents. Deletion is permanent and leaves no recoverable traces. AN-24 cannot access external networks or devices unless physically connected.
AN-24 exhibits limited decision-making. It prioritizes deletion of files containing keywords related to memetic hazards and OS Foundation operations. Its deletion rate is limited to approximately 500 MB per minute. AN-24 cannot access to the important documents or deleting them, but have access to normal documents such as anomalies and others. AN-24 discovered in December 20th, 2013, in a server warehouse. AN-24 then escorted by OMTF Unit ρ-1 and μ-2 secured to BlackSite-16.
Key Properties:
AN-24 can delete specific files, logs, and metadata without leaving traces. Recovery via conventional or anomalous means has failed in all tests. AN-24 cannot self-propagate over active networks. To avoid this, AN-24 must stay turned off and the Terminal-V59 and Unit R-59 must stay turned on to prevent AN-24 deleting any files. Unstructured or conversational input will increases its deletion radius.
Unit R-59 and Terminal-V59 is a server that appears as standard 42U rack server, same as AN-24. These servers are responsible to contain backup specific files, addendums, and important files. Unit R-59 responsible for turning off AN-24, while Terminal-V59 responsible for recover deleted documents.
