Omega Deep mining & Oil Corporation
Omega Deep Mining & Oil Corporation, also known as Omega Inc. or O Corp(old), was an executive corporation that held the position of representative of O Corp from 1975 to 1988, prior to the creation of the current OS Foundation. Omega Corp was created by Enrico Samarium in 1975 and aimed at deep mining exploration, drilling, oil and gas exploration, and other primary resource sources such as reserved forestry zones and farms. However, in 1988, Omega Corp was dismantled due to bankruptcy caused by the Piper Alpha station crisis. This significant loss led to the end of O Corp(old). The creation of Omega Corp, along with the discovery of anomalous objects, motivated Edward Samarium (Enrico's son) to continue the Samarium family legacy, retaining O Corp's position on the executive corporation's board.
